Updating previous reports, The Associated Press reports Milwaukee Brewers OF Corey Hart agreed to a one-year, $3.25 million contract.
Our Instinct: Just like with marriage, either meet in the middle or go to court. Hart will have 2 more years of arbitration, but can land himself a nice contract with the Brewers with a breakout season. Hart will be 27 when the season starts and entering his prime. If he can bump that average closer to .300 again and become a 30-30 guy he will put up close to 700 points and be worth around $30. If you can get him for around $20, this is the year Hart will be a great value.
