Braves | Kawakami impresses in bullpen session
by George Utter on February 19, 2009

David O’Brien, of The Atlanta Journal-Constitution, reports Atlanta Braves SP Kenshin Kawakami impressed manager Bobby Cox during his bullpen session Thursday, Feb. 19. He is scheduled to face live hitters for the first time Saturday, Feb. 21.
Our Instinct: Kawakami shouldn’t be expected to put up amazing numbers, but could reach 150 innings and 10 wins. Anything over $5 on auction day is probably a waste.
