Giants | Lincecum impressive Thursday
by George Utter on February 19, 2009

Chris Haft, of MLB.com, reports San Francisco Giants SP Tim Lincecum baffled hitters while throwing in a live session Thursday, Feb. 19. He threw around 30 pitches and threw all of his pitches except for his slider. Lincecum was concentrating on his curveball because he has had trouble controlling it lately.
Our Instinct: It’s likely the only thing Lincecum will find hard controlling is his excitment on winning back to back Cy Young awards. He should be good for 825-850 points and $37-40 value. If you can get him for less than that, you’ll have yourself a bargin. Still though, at $40-45 he’s not a bad buy either.
