Dodgers | Torre sticking with Pierre as starting left fielder

Los Angeles Dodgers

Updating previous reports, Los Angeles Dodgers manager Joe Torre said that while there is still a chance 3B Casey Blake could be moved to left field, with 2B Blake DeWitt taking over at third base, he considers OF Juan Pierre to be the starter in left field, according to Dylan Hernandez of the Los Angeles Times.

Our Instinct:  Where have we heard this before?  If Manny Ramirez comes back to the Dodgers, Pierre will have simular numbers to last year or worse as he will pout about it all season.  If he’s a starter, look for 85 runs, 40 rbis, and 50-55 sbs.  He could put up 600+ points and be worth $22 or better.  Pierre is certainly a better full time Fantasy player than he is a full time major leaguer.
