Cubs | Marmol leaning against pitching in WBC
by George Utter on February 23, 2009

The Chicago Tribune’s Paul Sullivan reports Chicago Cubs RP Carlos Marmol is leaning against pitching in the World Baseball Classic.
Our Instinct: I’m sure the Cubbies are leaning on him to skip it. Marmol should produce 35-40 saves and 100+ k’s making him a top choice for closers. 550+ points and $20-$25 value is possible, but you should be able to get him for around $15, unless you have to get into a cat fight with a confused Texan Cub’s fan.
