The Philadelphia Daily News’ David Murphy reports Philadelphia Phillies manager Charlie Manuel said SP Carlos Carrasco is a serious contender for the No. 5 slot in the rotation after spending all winter working on his cutter and curveball.

Happ for the spot in the back end of the rotation, we feel that a little time at AAA would be for the best.
