Astros | Berkman out of spring opener
by George Utter on February 25, 2009

Astros.MLB.com’s Alyson Footer reports Houston Astros 1B Lance Berkman (shoulder) is out of the lineup Wednesday, Feb. 25, for precautionary reasons due to soreness in his left shoulder.
Our Instinct: Look for Berkman to trade in some of that speed from last season to return to better power numbers. A line of .305-100-32-110-11 can be expected, making him a top 15 hitter and a great addition to your team.
