Chicago Cubs
Paul Sullivan, of The Chicago Tribune, reports Chicago Cubs RP Carlos Marmol said he will strike out C Geovany Soto if they face each other in the 2009 World Baseball Classic. “I’m going to strike him out. I’m going to try to. We’re enemies out there. In here, we’re good friends. There, it’s different,” Marmol said.
Our Instinct: Uh – Yeah. Maybe save that arm for the season and try not to plunk Soto – that would be best for the Cubbies and large number of fantasy owners.
