Indians | Choo may be used as DH
by George Utter on March 4, 2009
Paul Hoynes, of The Cleveland Plain Dealer, reports Cleveland Indians OF Shin-Soo Choo (elbow) may be used solely as a designated hitter in the 2009 World Baseball Classic while playing for South Korea.
Our Instinct: Sounds reasonable to us. Choo is pretty underrated and will get 500 ab’s. a line of .290-85-22-85-7 would look very nice on auction day for $7-$8.
