Tigers | Bonderman feels good
by George Utter on March 7, 2009
Tom Gage, of The Detroit News, reports Detroit Tigers SP Jeremy Bonderman (shoulder) threw Friday, March 6, and said the session went well. He threw at 90 feet Friday and did not experience any pain. Bonderman will now throw a bullpen session either Sunday, March 8, or Monday, March 9, and is likely to throw a second bullpen after that. Bonderman could be on track to make a start next week.
Our Instinct: Well, it’s progress. At 26 the window is closing on living up to potential for Bonderman. Still, he is capable of putting up decent numbers this season and would be a good addition to the back end of your rotation.
