Twins | Mauer to undergo tests Wednesday
by George Utter on March 10, 2009
Updating a previous item, La Velle E. Neal III, of the Minneapolis Star Tribune, reports Minnesota Twins C Joe Mauer (kidney, back) will undergo a magnetic resonance arthrogram Wednesday, March 11, to explain why he is having trouble recovering from kidney surgery that has caused him back pain.
Our Instinct: Mauer is a gamer and should do just fine this season, however, the price you have to pay for Mauer to be your catcher should come with a bottle of pepto.
