Mets | Livan close to grabbing spot
by George Utter on March 19, 2009

The New York Daily News’ Adam Rubin reports New York Mets SP Livan Hernandez is close to nailing down the No. 5 spot in the rotation.
Our Instinct: Here is the place where I would like to lull my league mates into adding Livan to their staff, however I don’t think our readers would appreciate fluff and lies. Expect around a 6.00 era and very few points. Even as a Met’s starter, he shouldn’t be on your roster. If you’re in a deep league and must, don’t spend over $1 and pick your places to start him – Though I doubt he will get many starts vs Canada or the Dominican Republic….
