Padres | Peavy expected to start Sunday
by George Utter on March 19, 2009
Joe Frisaro, of MLB.com, reports San Diego Padres SP Jake Peavy is expected to start for the United States in the 2009 World Baseball Classic Sunday, March 22.
Our Instinct: Expect Peavy and Team USA to bounce back after being embarrassed last Saturday. This team is mad as hell and won’t let Puerto Rico forget it.
