Geoff Baker, of The Seattle Times, reports Seattle Mariners SP Brandon Morrow (forearm) threw a 28-pitch simulated game Friday, March 20.
Our Instinct: ”I tried to go out and throw normally,” Morrow said. “I wanted to make sure everything was good to let it go. I was a little better in the stretch. The windup’s coming along. Everything looks good.” The Mariners would like him to be in the rotation, so this is a very good sign. A 3.70 era, 14-9 record, and 170 k’s in 180 innings pitched would not be a surprise at all for this future stud. $16-$18 value for this season is realistic.
