Tampa Bay Rays SPs James Shields and Andy Sonnanstine will pitch in a minor league game Sunday, March 22, against the Triple-A affiliate of the Minnesota Twins, according to Marc Lancaster of The Tampa Tribune.

Our Instinct:  Shields will be the opening day starter for the Rays and should command a value of around $25 for the season.  Sonnanstine, should be the 4th or 5th starter, who would make a good #3 on many teams, should earn about $16-$17 in value this season.

Closing in on 25 years of following the greatest game in the world very closely. I can remember as a kid how excited I was when a player that I had watched in the minors make his major league debut. The same holds true today. We designed Baseball Instinct with that in mind; getting you the fan excited to get out and see the see the stars of tomorrow - today!
