Reds | Phillips sidelined by flu Saturday
by George Utter on March 22, 2009
Cincinnati Reds 2B Brandon Phillips (flu) was not in the lineup Saturday, March 21, against the Pittsburgh Pirates, because of the flu, according to John Fay of The Cincinnati Enquirer.
Our Instinct: No other club house has been struck with viruses like the Reds this spring. Phillips should be fine by opening day and entering the prime age of 27 should be in store for his biggest season yet. Consider him to be worth about $25, and as always, if you can get him for less than $20 it’s a good bargin.
