Braves | McCann goes deep on opening day
by George Utter on April 6, 2009
Erik Matuszewski of Bloomberg.com reports that Brian McCann gave the Braves a 2-0 lead with a two-run homer off Myers in the bottom of the first inning.
Our Instinct: It was the 1st home run of the 2009 season. McCann is arguably the best catcher in baseball, and opening day just makes the case stronger. He should provide about $24 value at a very weak position through the course of the season.
