The Associated Press reports Atlanta Braves OF Jordan Schafer homered during a 4-1 win over the Philadelphia Phillies Sunday, April 5.
Our Instinct: Earlier today I listed Schafer as one to watch, but even I didn’t think he would drop a bomb on Myers in his 1st big league at bat. Welcome to the show kid, you should have a pretty good season.
Closing in on 25 years of following the greatest game in the world very closely. I can remember as a kid how excited I was when a player that I had watched in the minors make his major league debut. I dont think anyone expected him to homer in his first at bat….but it was nice to see him start off with a good game
