Phillies | Blanton roughed up Wednesday
by George Utter on April 8, 2009
The Associated Press reports Philadelphia Phillies SP Joe Blanton gave up seven runs and nine hits against the Atlanta Braves in just three innings Wednesday, April 8.
Our Instinct: It took an 8 run 7th inning for the Phillies to get Blanton off the hook for this stinky performance. Blanton owners should hold their heads in shame in accepting the 7 points he actually netted them.
