White Sox | Floyd hit with loss in solid performance
by George Utter on April 8, 2009
The Associated Press reports Chicago White Sox SP Gavin Floyd gave up six hits and struck out nine in seven innings pitched against the Kansas City Royals Wednesday, April 8.
Our instinct: Floyd was very impressive in this one. He was featured today in our Baseball Instinct game of the day article and just could not get any run support in this 24 point effort. Those who own him should be impressed that he has picked up where he left off last season and looks legit.
