Royals | Guillen placed on DL
by George Utter on April 10, 2009
Bob Dutton, of The Kansas City Star, reports the Kansas City Royals placed OF Jose Guillen (hip) on the 15-day disabled list Friday, April 10, with a partially torn right hip flexor.
Our Instinct: Mark Teahen will slide into right field, while Albert Callaspo will start at 2B. Monitor the situation, Callaspo may gain a little value, however Teahan isn’t as appealing in the outfield as 2B.
