Nationals | Dunn, Dukes homer Monday
by George Utter on April 13, 2009
Howard Fendrich, of The Associated Press, reports Washington Nationals OFs Adam Dunn and Elijah Dukes both hit home runs Monday, April 13. Dunn now has two homers on the year.
Our instinct: It’s a shame that the Nationals pitching is so horrible as 8 runs was not enough to win the game. Can you say Stephen Strasburg? Dunn is hitting .364 on the season and also added a double in this affair. He’s looking pretty strong early in the season.
