Blue Jays | Litsch placed on DL
by George Utter on April 14, 2009
Updating a previous report, Jordan Bastian, of MLB.com, reports the Toronto Blue Jays placed SP Jesse Litsch (forearm) on the 15-day disabled list Tuesday, April 14, with soreness in his throwing elbow and forearm.
Our instinct: Litsch looked aweful so far this season, so this explains a lot of it. LHP Bill Murphy was recalled from AAA Las Vegas to take his roster spot.
