Pirates | Duke hurls gem Monday
by George Utter on April 14, 2009
The Associated Press reports Pittsburgh Pirates SP Zach Duke gave up just four hits while tossing his third career shutout against the Houston Astros Monday, April 13.
Our instinct: As a Baseball Instinct fantasy league team owner 2 things come to mind. 1) Where did this come from? 2) Ouch, why against me tonight? The complete game, quality start, shutout hurt to the tune of 41 points. I know of atleast 1 owner with a smile a Texas mile wide.
