Angels | Hunter hits another HR off Silva
by George Utter on April 15, 2009
Angels OF Torii Hunter was 1-for-3 with his second home run and two walks during Tuesday’s game against the Mariners. Carlos Silva’s biggest mistake was a 3-1 fastball that Hunter sent soaring just under the second deck beyond left field for a solo homer. (source: CBS News/Feedzilla)
Our instinct: It was the only mistake Silva made in the game, giving up only 2 runs and a bb in 7 ip. Hunter meanwhile, is hitting .238 on the season. He was one of players most shaken up by the Nick Adenhart tragedy. He should rebound shortly, though these things take time to heal.
