Blue Jays | Murphy to be recalled
by George Utter on April 15, 2009
Sportsnet.ca reports the Toronto Blue Jays plan to recall SP Bill Murphy from Triple-A Las Vegas.
Our instinct: Actually, the 27 year old Murphy has been used as a RP this season at Vegas. It’s likely that will just use him out of the pen until the need for a 5th starter arises again. I wouldn’t waste time with him at this point.
