Diamondbacks | Byrnes helps drop Cards in 10th inning
by George Utter on April 15, 2009
Eric Byrnes broke out of a slump with a two-out RBI single in the 10th inning that gave the Arizona Diamondbacks a 7-6 victory over the St. Louis Cardinals on Tuesday night. (source: CBS News from Feedzilla)
Our Instinct: Byrnes raised his average to .111. He’s been nothing short of horrible this season and going 1-5 to actually raise your average is sad. Bench his for now if you can and haven’t already.
