Braves | Lowe walks five in no-decision
by George Utter on April 16, 2009
The Associated Press reports Atlanta Braves SP Derek Lowe yielded a career-tying five walks in a no-decision against the Florida Marlins Wednesday, April 15. He also gave up seven hits and four runs while striking out five in five innings.
Our Instinct: Those of you that were in love with the idea that Lowe was going to make fans in Atlanta forget about Greg Maddux can now return to reality. Hopefully though, you can be satisfied with a solid season as a Brave from Lowe, because that’s what you will get.
