Nationals | Martis strong Thursday
by George Utter on April 17, 2009
Howard Ulman, of The Associated Press, is reporting Washington Nationals SP Shairon Martis gave up two runs and five hits Thursday, April 16, in an 8-2 win over the Philadelphia Phillies.
Our instinct: Martis is now 1-0 with a 4.82 era. How ugly is things for the Nats? Martis leads the starters with the lowest era. Yeah, I know.
