Reds | Harang has solid outing Thursday
by George Utter on April 24, 2009
The Associated Press reports Cincinnati Reds SP Aaron Harang gave up one unearned run in seven innings against the Chicago Cubs to pick up the win Thursday, April 23. Harang recorded his 1,000th career strikeout in the game.
Our instinct: The win puts Harang at 2-2 on the season. He has a 2.00 era to go along with 22 k’s in 27 innings pitched. He appears long past the troubles that plagued him for part of the 2008 season.
