Rockies | Francis entering spring training with no limitations

Colorado RockiesThe Denver Post’s Troy E. Renck reports that Colorado Rockies SP Jeff Francis (shoulder) will enter spring training camp with no limitations. He is expected to begin the season as the No. 2 starter, behind SP Ubaldo Jimenez, with SPs Aaron Cook, Jorge De La Rosa and SP Jason Hammel following him in the rotation. However, manager Jim Tracy said there is a possibility that Francis and De La Rosa could swap spots.

Our Instinct:  Francis at the #3 or #4 would help his win total to be sure.  He’s looking fully recovered and will make a fine addition to the back end of any fantasy rotation.  Expect him to earn about $5-$6 this season.
