Diamondbacks | Edwin Jackson, Arizona avoid arbitration w/deal.
by George Utter on February 15, 2010
Right-hander Edwin Jackson and the Arizona Diamondbacks have agreed to a $13.35 million, two-year deal, avoiding an arbitration hearing. (source: ESPN)
Our Instinct: Good news for E-Jack and the Backs. It saves Arizona from going to arbitration and ripping apart a good pitcher who had a rough spot at the end of the season. Expect Jackson to be a $15-$17 pitcher. Pitching behind Haren and Webb will be good for him – and your fantasy team.
