Diamondbacks | C. Jackson regains weight
by George Utter on February 16, 2010
Jerry Crasnick, of ESPN.com, reports Arizona Diamondbacks OF Conor Jackson (illness) has regained 30 pounds in the offseason while working out at the Athletes’ Performance Institute in Arizona. “I feel great,” Jackson said. “I think I can finally put all of this behind me. I’m not feeling any side effects anymore, and I can say that I wake up every day feeling like my old self again. I am chomping at the bit to get back on the field.”
Our Instinct: Great news for a talented player. Co-Jack could be a top 50 outfielder if the way he torched Dominican Winter League pitching is any indication. You cant count on him being worth $9, but could be worth as much as $15 if he stays healthy and hot.
