The Associated Press reports a decision on Florida Marlins OF Cody Ross’ arbitration case is expected to come Tuesday, Feb. 16. Ross was asking for $4.45 million while the team was offering $4.2 million.
Our Instinct: Seriously? One side couldn’t give – or better yet, they couldn’t meet in the middle of $250,000? You’d think it would cost as much just to go before the arbitrator. Nevertheless, expect Ross to be about the 50th best outfielder in fantasy baseball and bring in about $10-$11 in value in 2010.
