Orioles | Markakis doesn’t care where he bats
by George Utter on February 16, 2010
Calling into The Hot Stove Show on 105.7 The Fan, right fielder Nick Markakis said he doesn’t care whether he bats second or third this season. He pointed out that it really doesn’t matter after the first inning. Markakis will mostly hit third. (source: CBS News)
Our Instinct: Markakis is a true professional, pencil him in anywhere in the lineup and he will produce. Consider him a top 10 outfielder and worth $23-$25 for this season. Go get him.
