Tigers | Zumaya tinkers with mechanics

Jerry Crasnick, of ESPN.com, reports Detroit Tigers RP Joel Zumaya has been throwing with his hand a “tick higher” on the baseball, according to pitching coach Rick Knapp. The adjustment gives Zumaya’s pitches more late, riding life as they approach the strike zone.

Our Instinct:  Whatever it takes to make Zumaya a quality major league relief pitcher to go along with his legendary Guitar Heroes status.
