Cardinals | Pujols to arrive with rest of players

by George Utter on February 17, 2010

St. Louis CardinalsThe St. Louis Post-Dispatch’s Joe Strauss reports St. Louis Cardinals 1B Albert Pujols will arrive with the rest of the position players due to the birth of his son. It’s the first time in his career that Pujols hasn’t arrived to camp early.

Our Instinct:  Aww.  We will forgive you Albert by giving you the most money of any player in this season’s fantasy baseball auction.  The Cardinals will also reward you – with the richest contract in the history of baseball.

The good things that come down about Albert Pujols never cease to amaze me. First off, in a rare time of good people in celebrity roles, he’s the class act! He fully understands the role of being a good Dad first, a baseball player second. Secondly, the fact that he shows up early to practice shows the dedication he has to his team and the sport of baseball!

John,

You got that right. Fat Albert has kept it clean and does amazing things for his community. There’s a reason why he is the face of baseball right now.
Thanks for taking the to time post on our site and Go Air Force!
