Tigers | Sizemore progressing
by George Utter on February 17, 2010
The Detroit News’ Lynn Henning reports Detroit Tigers head athletic trainer Kevin Rand said 2B Scott Sizemore (leg) has been at the team’s spring training facility since January and has progressed well. Rand said Sizemore has been taking grounders, hitting and is now in the final stage of baserunning. Sizemore will report Friday, Feb. 19.
Our Instinct: Sizemore should land the starting 2B gig in Motown this spring. He will be at the very end of usefulness among fantasy 2b. He should be worth $1-$2 and you shouldn’t pay anymore than that.
