The St. Petersburg Times’ Marc Topkin reports Tampa Bay Rays CL Rafael Soriano (illness) left the field early Friday, Feb. 19, due to a respiratory cold.
Our Instinct: Nothing like a chest cold to start off your spring training with. Soriano who was traded by the Braves in the offseason, is set to be the Rays closer. The cold isn’t his biggest issue; staying injury free is. If he can do that, he stands to put up some good numbers for fantasy owners.
