Rangers | SP Derek Holland to have MRI exam Monday
by George Utter on February 22, 2010
Updating previous reports, Texas Rangers SP Derek Holland (knee) entered the clubhouse without a brace and with no visible limp Sunday, Feb. 21, after suffering a right knee injury during workouts the previous day, according to Richard Durrett of ESPNDallas.com. Even though Holland said he felt “way better” after receiving treatment, he will still undergo a precautionary MRI exam Monday, Feb. 22.
Our Instinct: Here’s to hoping that the MRI is negative. Holland is a bright young pitcher and we would hate to see him out with an injury.
