Brewers | Fielder until death do us part
by George Utter on February 26, 2010
AOL Fanhouse’s Jeff Fletcher reports Milwaukee Brewers 1B Prince Fielder said he’d like to finish his career with the team, but he isn’t going to guarantee anything. He said no extension talks have taken place.
Our Instinct: Translation – Pay the man and he will be a Brewer for life. With revenue sharing and Fielder’s popularity in Milwaukee, theres not too much chance of him going elsewhere. However, they should be prepared to cough up $20 million a season in all likelihood.
