Braves | OF Jordan Schafer swinging at air

MLB.com’s Alden Gonzalez reports Atlanta Braves OF Jordan Schafer (wrist) will take some dry swings Friday, Feb. 26, and may hit off a tee if he feels OK.

Our Instinct:  With Melky Cabrera, Nate McLouth, and likely Matt Diaz will open the season as Atlanta’s starting outfield.  Baseball Instincts’ #1 prospect Jason Heyward will be a fixture in the Braves’ outfield.  It could be as soon as opening day, but shouldn’t be any later than June.  Schafer will have a hard time finding a full time role in 2010.
