Cubs | Kevin Millar working at 1B, OF and 3B
by George Utter on February 27, 2010
The Chicago Tribune’s Paul Sullivan reports Chicago Cubs 1B Kevin Millar is practicing at third base, the outfield and first base in hopes of adding enough versatility to make the team.
Our Instinct: The 38 year old Millar hit .223-7-29-29-0 last season in 78 games with the Blue Jays. You got to like his willingness to play where ever he can, whenever he can. Despite the advertised versatility, he shouldn’t be in your plans on auction day.
