Diamondbacks | SP Billy Buckner trying to secure rotation job

The Arizona Republic’s Nick Piecoro reports Arizona Diamondbacks SP Billy Buckner has the early. lead for the fifth starter position due to a strong September in which he posted a 3.93 ERA in six starts. He is competing with SPs Kevin Mulvey, Rodrigo Lopez and Bryan Augenstein.

Our Instinct:  None of these guys are terribly exciting for fantasy purposes.  If you are anxiously waiting the outcome of this battle – yikes.
