Mike DiGiovanna, of the Los Angeles Times, reports Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim SP Ervin Santana’s fastball looked lively Thursday, Feb. 25, and said his arm is feeling great. “I feel good – I don’t have to lie about my arm,” said Santana, who was slowed by an elbow sprain much of last season. “I’m letting the ball go.”
Our Instinct: The 27 year old Santana finshed 8-8, with a 5.03 era, 107 k’s, and 47 walks in an injury filled 139 ip, 2009 season. Expect a return to double digit wins in 2010.
