Braves | SP Jair Jurrjens has no pain
by George Utter on February 28, 2010
Updating previous reports, Atlanta Braves SP Jair Jurrjens (shoulder) did not experience any pain while doing long toss Saturday, Feb. 27, according to David O’Brien of The Atlanta Journal-Constitution. He is expected to throw three or four side sessions beginning Monday, March 1, before making his first spring start during the first or second week in March.
Our Instinct: Good news for Jurrjens owner’s. This looked potentially bad a week ago, but now it looks like he will be fine to open the season. Consider him a good middle of the rotation sp for your fantasy squad.
