Geoff Baker, of The Seattle Times, reports Seattle Mariners RP Joshua Fields is noticeably bigger this spring, and manager Don Wakamatsu thinks Fields has put on 10 pounds of muscle.
Our Instinct: Fields has been putting in extra work this spring to improve his mechanics that caused his 2009 season to be less than impressive. The extra muscle and work should improve his chances of being with the big club at some point this season.
