by George Utter on March 2, 2010
Carrie Muskat, of MLB.com, reports Chicago Cubs SS Starlin Castro could receive the starting nod at shortstop in the team’s spring game against the Oakland Athletics Thursday, March 4, according to manager Lou Piniella.
Our Instinct: Castro is in the Cubs’ long-term plan in a big way. Expect him to move up quickly. He’s currently ranked #31 in our Baseball Instinct top 100 prospects list.
