Carrie Muskat, of MLB.com, reports Chicago Cubs OF Xavier Nady (wrist) is unlikely to play in the team’s spring opener against the Oakland Athletics Thursday, March 4.
Our Instinct: Nady is working on mechanics right now and should be game ready soon. He is going to have to prove that hes healthy and can get enough ab’s with Alfonso Soriano, Marlon Byrd, and Kosuke Fukadome in his way for fantasy leaguer’s to consider him anything but an end-gamer.
