Todd Zolecki, of MLB.com, reports Philadelphia Phillies OF Shane Victorino (shoulder) may not play in the team’s exhibition game Wednesday, March 3, due to shoulder soreness, according to manager Charlie Manuel. However, Victorino did take batting practice Monday, March 1.
Our Instinct: Shoulder soreness is not that uncommon this time of year, even for position players. Expect Victorino to sit out a day or two. He’s a top 20 fantasy outfielder, and this doesn’t change that.
